Introvert? Extrovert? Group? One on One?

Want to get the most out of your workouts?!  Consider personal training!

Here at Lincoln Nutrition & Fitness: Home of CrossFit Lincoln, a large number of our members join group class.  During these classes, you have a dedicated coach guiding you through every step of the one hour of training.  But, even though the coach is focused on you and your success during that time, you do not have their undivided attention.  Group classes are a fantastic way to get in a great workout, build skills, and learn about different movements/ways to move the body.  You can gain a LOT of progress attending just group classes, and a lot of times, just doing group class is a great fit for a lot of people.  However, there are times that personal training is going to be more ideal for your situation either for a short-term situation or even long-term.

Who is personal training for?

Personal training is for anyone.  In the case of someone who is beginning their fitness journey, it’s an excellent way to really learn the fundamentals, find strengths and weaknesses, and set really specific goals.  Personal training is especially helpful for beginners when they are not comfortable working out in a group setting.

I also HIGHLY recommend personal training when experiencing speed bumps in life.  This could be injury, personal challenges, and even pregnancy.  If you’re encountering a life situation that is there for the short-term, taking a step back to promote strength and healing is so valuable and is best achieved when working one-on-one with a coach.

Alternatively, if you are more practiced as an athlete, you might consider personal training to focus on a specific skill or evening training for a particular event, like a marathon or competition.

In personal training, the coach programs workout specifically for your specific goals. Not only does the coach get to know you as an athlete but also as a person.  Most importantly, we meet you where you are.  You could have all of the experience in the world in fitness or none at all and we will be able to effectively bring quality movement into your life.
