OUR BARBELL CLUB OFFERS
SPECIALIZED TRAINING
A strength and conditioning class focused on improving performance in the Olympic Lifts: Barbell Snatch and Barbell Clean & Jerk. Plus, frequent accessory lifts to help aid and drive weightlifting performance include squats, overhead presses, pulls/deadlifts, and core/trunk stability training.
MOBILITY & POWER
These two domains are not mutually exclusive. You CAN gain more strength and explosiveness, while also learning to move better. If you have dealt with pain of any kind performing squatting, pulling, and pressing movements, or resigned yourself to the idea that, “My body doesn’t move like that.” all hope is not lost. Oftentimes, the prescription to gaining the needed mobility and developing power are found by performing the exercises themselves (and related variations) near our limitations–whether its range of motion or strength.
