A Letter From Your Nutrition Coach

In middle school I loved one thing…playing basketball. I wanted to be the best and play in the WNBA when I got older. Fast forward many years, I did not play in the WNBA nor was I ever the best in school. But that didn’t stop me from making goals and becoming a better version of myself!

In the most simple terms, I was one of the bigger players on the team in middle school (both vertically and horizontally) and running was not my thing. My goal was to move up and down the court faster. Looking back now, there were so many different changes that would have helped me!. Luckily,I started with just one change. I decided to give up pop (or soda for some of you)!

And guess what? Slowly, but surely, I started getting faster. It was working! That success gave me momentum to tackle the next fitness goal, and the next, and the next. Success is empowering!

With any goal, but especially nutrition goals, everyone needs to define their “why”. It can be simple, like my reason for giving up pop to become a better middle school basketball player. l What is your why? What are your goals?

Let us help you discover your why! The path to defining your why, setting goals and, more importantly, achieving them begins with a short intro session with a coach. In our short session, we will:

  1. Learn about where you’ve been; what has worked (and what hasn’t);
  2. Help you come up with a plan that will work for you; and
  3. Get started!

What we put into our bodies directly affects us in every way – physically, mentally and emotionally. And while our “whys” can change over time, we should always be looking for a way to become our best selves. I no longer want to be the best basketball player and join the WNBA, but I do want to be the best me in every possible way. It all starts with what I eat and drink!

Are you ready to start your journey to your best self? You don’t have to do it alone! Let our nutrition coaches help guide you!
