Team Version Workout.

For week 1, the team version of the workout will be nearly the same as the individual workout. The difference is that partners will take turns every other round. Partner One will do the first round, partner two will do the second round, then back to partner 1, etc.
The catch is that the dumbbell must be held at all times. It may not go below the height of the rower seat. If the dumbbell goes below this height, both partners must stop working and perform 1 burpee each.

Monday Class Structure/ Open Re-Do Options.

Monday Game Plan:

Quite often we have members choose to repeat the open workout in order to improve their score.

On Monday we’ll program the open event from Friday as our class WOD.

For anyone wanting to repeat the open event, our plan is to use use any certified judges we have available within the class to judge (we suggest you still make sure someone normally in your class is available to judge you).

Our goal is to have 2 heats within the hour, the first heat would start at the 15-20 min mark of the hour, the second would begin around the 40-45 min mark of the hour.

If you’re an athlete that wants extra warm-up time, please plan to come earlier for the hour to warm-up, set-up and get ready as needed.

If you completed the Open WOD on Friday and have no plans to repeat, please perform the class WOD from Friday during class time. Coaches are instructed to help as needed for those.

Anyone Participating in the Open Outside these Scheduled Open Times:

If you’re planning to participate in any open WOD outside of the 4-8p time frame on Friday’s or outside of the class times on Monday’s you must complete the on-line Judges course and present your certification of completion to phil@crossfitlincoln.com or your score will not be validated by CFL.

We are doing this for a couple of reasons.

First, to uphold the highest standard at CrossFit Lincoln. Ultimately CrossFit Lincoln is responsible for the scores we validate. We feel much more confident validating those scores knowing both athlete and judge at the very minimum have been tested and show they understand the basic movement standards for the open.

Second, so as an athlete you can repay the favor to your judge for taking time out of their day to judge you.

CFL will re-imburse anyone who completes the judges course by taking $10 off of April’s membership.
