I grew up skinny fat. You know what I mean…the skinny-as-all-get-out and still can’t do a dang pushup to save my life. My classmates called me “Stick Boy.”
It never occurred to me that life could be different. I figured my body was given to me at birth and there really wasn’t much I could do to change it. Turns out I was wrong.
We have seen hundreds of people make changes to their bodies. It wasn’t done surgically or taking shortcuts. The transformations were not easy, they were earned!
We are excited to offer nutrition coaching and accountability at Lincoln Nutrition & Fitness: Home of CrossFit Lincoln. Our passion is to positively impact and change lives by building a strong, brave and healthy community through education.
Food and the emotions and feelings around what we eat, when we eat and how much we eat can be extremely overwhelming. Everyone has at least voice in their head telling us we can never make the changes we want to make.
Our coaching staff and members want to help quiet those internal voices and remind you that you can achieve amazing results because they have gone before you.
It really is possible!
Your journey to leaving “Stick Boy” or any of the other labels you’ve been given (or given yourself) starts with a short intro session with a coach.
- We learn about where you’ve been; what has worked (and what hasn’t),
- We help you come up with a plan that will work for you;
- We get to work and celebrate the results.
After growing up skinny fat and fighting with myself over what I looked like and what I thought others saw I started to pay attention to when, where and why I ate. I paid more attention to how I felt after I ate and what my body was able to accomplish.
The voices of my former classmates don’t overwhelm me anymore (usually) and I know I’m surrounded by coaches and friends at Lincoln Nutrition & Fitness: Home of CrossFit Lincoln that cheer me on and journey with me.
Are you ready to start your journey? Are you ready to quiet the voices in your head and see the results you’ve believed were impossible?
