The Habits Challenge at CrossFit Lincoln — Start 2026 Strong

Every January, we get the same questions:

“How do I reset?”
“How do I break old patterns?”
“How do I get my momentum back on habits outside the gym?”

At CrossFit Lincoln, we believe the answer is simple:
You change your habits, and your habits change your life.

That’s why we’re bringing back one of our favorite newish traditions — The Habits Challenge — to kick off 2026 with clarity, structure, and a community that refuses to let you do it alone.

This challenge isn’t about restriction, punishment, or chasing perfection. It’s about rebuilding your foundation so you can feel better, move with intention, and reconnect with what your body and mind truly need.

Because the habits you practice today shape the person you become tomorrow. And we’re here to help you become the strongest, healthiest version of yourself.


The Habits Challenge: What We’re Tackling Together

For six weeks, we’re committing to habits that support a healthier metabolism, improved sleep, better energy, and a clearer head. Here’s what we’re focusing on:

  • 0 foods or beverages with added sugar
  • 0 alcohol
  • 7-8 hours of sleep each night
  • 100oz water a day
  • 8,000 steps a day
  • 3–4 CrossFit classes per week (keep the Committed Club momentum going!)

None of these habits are easy on their own — and that’s exactly why we do them together.
Those first few days without sugar? Rough.
Trying to hit 8,000 steps in January weather? A challenge.
Saying “no thanks” when everyone else is having a drink? Hard.

But with a team cheering for you and coaches guiding you, you’re not doing it alone.

This year, we’re thrilled to continue making the challenge FREE for all members.

You’ve shown up. You’ve pushed through the tough days. You’ve proven you’re committed — and we want to continue supporting that momentum.

Tracking Your Progress

You’ll use a simple, at-home tracking sheet to mark your daily habits.
This sheet becomes a visual reminder of your commitment — and a surprisingly powerful source of motivation.

At the end of the challenge, you’ll turn in your sheet and answer a few reflection questions about your journey. You’ll be amazed by how much you’ve changed in six weeks.

When the challenge ends, be sure to schedule a Goal Session with coach Emily. Together, you’ll review your progress, celebrate your wins, identify what to carry forward, and map out your next steps for 2026.
