CrossFit Lincoln was established in 2009 by a group of friends who were looking to improve their fitness while improving the fitness level of their friends, family, and community. The first CrossFit Lincoln workouts were hosted at local parks such as Holmes Lake and Mahoney Park. Eventually, we moved into our first box gym located at 733 Hill Street in Lincoln. The box was cozy and intimate, but the CrossFit Lincoln family continued to grow and forced us into a larger box located across the parking lot.
Today, CrossFit Lincoln stands as the original and premier CrossFit facility in Lincoln. The box includes 7,200 square feet of workout space including bathrooms and showers.
Our mission at CrossFit Lincoln is to cultivate a community in which we can transform lives by assisting members in achieving their health, fitness, and athletic goals.
THE CROSSFIT LINCOLN DIFFERENCE
Every time you come in the gym you will be coached. Unlike most gyms in Lincoln, we require that you work with a CrossFit coach during the workouts. We believe that quality coaching gets better results and prevents injury. We offer personal training, group training, and open gym times.
Joining one of our classes has many benefits, including camaraderie, support, motivation, and accountability. You are more likely to achieve the results you desire, and less likely to miss training days, when others are counting on you. At CrossFit Lincoln, you will learn Olympic lifts, kettlebells, powerlifting, basic gymnastics moves and many different kinds of bodyweight exercises.
